Hi, my name is Carlo Montenegro. I use this blog to showcase whatever is in the Downloads page as of this writing, although about 75.4256% of what you’ll find here are simply journal entries that I post every once in a while.

I am currently a Computer Science major in the Ateneo de Manila University. Bits, algorithms, and anything computer related fascinate me. Needless to say, I enjoy playing video games; although I have a lot of catching up to do in terms of playing new games in the market (school, including shifting from my previous major to CS, took its toll on my time).

My real passion is music. I am currently the drummer and co-audio-engineer of Fire Underwater, a New Wave band taking influences from artists such as The Police and L’Arc~en~Ciel (which is by the way, my number one favorite band). I specifically enjoy listening to Punk Rock and New Wave as a way of honing my percussive art. I also greatly enjoy playing DrumMania, a Japanese percussion-based rhythm game that introduced me to the world of drumming. As a music lover, I listen to pretty much any genre; anything that sounds good is good.

Music aside, I am generally interested in some forms of art such as reading, something I recently took interest in; writing and blogging; taking and editing videos; breaking; throwing and hitting people with plastic bottles, which I consider a form of art, yes.
