Stars From The Other Side

Seven weeks ago, I wrote about a blog entry entitled “Random Blog Entry From Outer Space.” And it was indeed about random stuff that “people probably wouldn’t care about.” XD

A week after that house visit I had when I wrote my last blog entry, a series of awesome events happened. It started with what I would call -inside reference warning- an “evening party.” Trying to be as vague there as possible. XD Well the important thing is that… I’m talking about a series of events here. After that evening party followed a school-wide competition where I had to compose music for my class’ stage play, gimmicks with my friends, band practices, yet another evening party here, a school fair, a concert, a band screening, and more gimmicks. What’s up with that? Well, that’s not what I would usually do as “counteralchemist.” I would probably enjoy writing this blog entry more, make a software skin, or something like that. XD But no, that isn’t the case. These events were “stars” from the other side of the universe that I discovered. These events made me realize how I can enjoy such activities even more than I did in the past. Seriously, I spent less time playing DrumMania during the last 7 weeks. BUT for those times I played DrumMania, I was usually with many of my friends hanging out in the arcade unlike in the past when I would go to the arcade alone. XDD

I decided to write this blog entry when those streak of gimmicks for the 2nd term ended with rtnario visiting my house… makes sense as I wrote my previous blog entry in his house before all of those events I mentioned occurred. The 2nd term also ended last Friday and tomorrow is the start of the 3rd and final term for this school year. It’s a long story really, but rtnario had to stay until 10:45 PM in my house. >> It was a half-overnight with non-stop FL Studio-ing and jamming. XD

I remember rtnario wanting to hit me with a chair, but I seriously don’t recall why. It was for fun anyway. XD Anyway, besides the fact that I wanted to reflect on those perhaps, eye-opening events by typing away, this blog entry serves as a formal statement from me that: I most likely will not post anything at all for the next 3 months. Those events that I experienced is only the start of my “life outside the computer.” xD This term of the school year is probably gonna be one of the most crucial (College Entrance grades) and busiest period in my high school life. There’s an event in school that happens only once every 2 years, another big celebration that happens every who knows how many years, an exposure trip, our 14th annual school fair (which is very significant to me btw), and the Prom. Well, there’s still Christmas break to work on some projects… it just depends on what will happen during my Christmas break I guess. Hey, I still have a V6 skin to finish. XD

Random Blog Entry From Outer Space

It’s been a while since I made any new blog entry huh? 3rd year high school has really been making me busy these days and I rarely find the time to work on projects like simfiles, videos, etc. I’ll post random updates here people probably wouldn’t care about. Enjoy. XD

The title’s a reference to KOTOKO’s Epsilon no Fune btw. XD

By the way, I’m still working on a V6 skin for DTXMania. I will also upload the V5 skin I worked on a few months ago.

What I’m Doing Right Now

I’m currently in my friend’s house, who also happens to be rtnario. And he just made his best video game remix evar. Check it out: Core Opression.*Hayate no Gotoku narrator* That is totally not a plug right there. I swear that isn’t a plug of rtnario’s best remix evar! Haven’t been here in this house in a while. There seems to be 2 Samsung LCD monitors here now. Shiny. And geez, I was gonna upload a screen shot of a video I just took a few minutes ago. But you caaaaaaaaaaan’t take screen shots of videos featuring shiny Samsung LCD monitors with a matching Kamen Rider Figure in front of one of the monitors… rtnario needs better codecs. >> At least he has some great library of music here. XD

What I Have Been Up To

Here’s more blog entry… entry you would probably read if you’re bored. XD (Go to the Downloads section if this is this is your first time in my blog) So after making my last blog entry, I have been watching even more anime. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is totally pwning the 1st season. XD I have also been working on my drumming and I won’t be saying anything more on that thanks to 2 videos:

Besides the 2 videos I uploaded on YouTube, I haven’t really worked on much projects as I’m too busy with school and other interests. I do have some incomplete simfiles here but I have no idea when I’ll get to work on them. But rest assured, I will definitively upload new stuff someday. XD

*continues to use rtnario’s computer* Oooh a secret beta of a composition-

Edit: And after seeing rtnario’s CryptLoad, I found out he downloaded a certain VST that he may be using for his compositions. =]

Edit 2: After convincing rtnario to trade VST recommendations, I finally know what VST he is using for the rhythm guitars in his works. =D

Edit 3: Saturday was awesome. My other pianist friend arrived and totally showed off his skills. We even got some random Nodame Cantabile parody video which is totally unrelated to playing the piano. Btw, congratulations on your soiree rtnario XD

Hayate no Gotoku!! 3

It’s been a while since I posted something here- Oh look, a seemingly out-of-place entry in my blog! Lol I’m actually blogging about an anime. XD

For the past few weeks, I have been rediscovering my love for anime. I have been watching various shows. Some old ones… and new ones too of course. That includes the 2nd season of Hayate no Gotoku. Here are some screen shots from episode 3. Wouldn’t be able to reach this far in watching the series in such a short time without the super awesome internet of my friend, so thanks to him! I’m not really posting a review of the episode… just plain screen shots to avoid too much spoilers. It’s not like my blog is an anime blog. (Or is it becoming one O_O XD)
